Cathy - Front Office Coordinator / Bookkeeper
Cathy became a part of our team in 1993 after spending nine years as an Administrative Assistant for a prosthodontist in Washington, D.C. Apart from the office, she keeps herself busy with her two daughters and their husbands, her three grandchildren and as a “pastor’s wife” - her husband serves as Pastor of Newington Baptist Church in Gloucester, Virginia. As a people-person, Cathy enjoys doing her best to meet the individual needs of our patients.
Chavonne - Clinical/Lab Technician And Inventory Control
Chavonne joined Dr. Rubenstein's practice shortly after moving here from Hawaii in July of 2009. Prior to coming to Virginia she worked in orthodontics full time since 1998, while expanding her experiences and skills in general dentistry part time since 2002. She likes spending time with her family and friends creating new adventures. Chavonne really enjoys the work and care she provides for our patients.
Cindy - Administrative Assistant
Cindy began her career in orthodontics as a part of Dr. Rubenstein’s team in 1994. She and her husband have two grown children and four grandchildren. Cindy enjoys every aspect of her job, especially the contact she has with our patients and their families.
Esther - Financial Administrator
Esther has orthodontic and dental assisting experience that led her here in 1993. Away from the office, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their two sons, daughters-in-law and three beautiful granddaughters. They are also very dedicated to the ministries of the Deaf Congregation of West Hampton Baptist Church. She enjoys and values her role in our team as the facilitator of our patients’ financials and aiding them in receiving their maximum insurance benefit.
Cheryl - Clinical / Lab Technician
Cheryl graduated from dental assisting school in 1981 and joined our team in 1996. She took a short hiatus in 2000 and returned to us in 2008. She has a wonderful husband and two lovely daughters. She enjoys her work with our patients and also working in our lab.
DiNora - Clinical Technician / Bilingual
DiNora joined our team in 2004. She is currently working part-time while also taking time to pursue her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and catching up with friends and family. DiNora likes to spend time getting to know her patients.
Donna - Treatment Coordinator
Donna joined our team in 1993 with 10 years of orthodontic experience. She has worked in several different positions in our office. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her beautiful daughter and her wonderful son-in-law. Donna prides herself in putting our patients’ needs first.
Imani - Clinical Technician
Imani joined Dr. Rubenstein's practice after moving here from New York in 2009. Prior to coming to Virginia, she worked in orthodontics full-time since 2001. After taking a hiatus to attend culinary school, she returned to working in the field of orthodontics. When she is not working, Imani enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
Jennifer - Clinical / Lab Technician
Jennifer has been with our team since 2001. Before venturing into the field of orthodontics, she worked in general dentistry. Jennifer enjoys time off with her husband and their three children. She specializes in the fabrication of our invisible retainers.
Kathy - Treatment Coordinator / Clinical Technician
Kathy joined Dr. Rubenstein’s practice in 1994 and has learned all clinical aspects of orthodontic treatment. Her first experience in the field of orthodontics took place while she was in high school, where she learned how to assist her own orthodontist in New York. She has two grown daughters. Kathy is currently specializing in working with all of our Invisalign® cases and helping patients to understand their particular treatment needs.
Lakisha - Clinical Technician
Lakisha has been a part of our team since 2005. She is always excited to participate in continuing education and takes advantage of all opportunities that Dr. Rubenstein makes available. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. Lakisha is very popular with our patients and can always be seen or heard laughing, singing or dancing in the office.
