Digital Radiography

The major advantage of digital radiography over traditional radiography is its ability to produce an x-ray picture instantaneously of extremely high quality using less radiation for our patients. Our patients are able to view their radiographs on a computer monitor at the initial appointment, thus enhancing patient education.

Self-Ligating Braces

Self-ligating braces offer several benefits for patients. They use a self-ligation technique using lighter wires and lower friction brackets to move teeth, while resulting in faster treatment times due to its slide mechanism, strong, mechanical base bonding and solid walls structured to control tooth movement with speed and efficiency.

Stainless Steel Braces

Metal braces are the most common type.  They are made of high-grade stainless steel.  Our metal braces are low profile, smaller, more comfortable, and more attractive.  Children and teenagers alike tend to prefer this type of brace because of the ability to choose the colored elastic ties at each visit.

Wild Smiles Braces

Wild Smiles braces are fun because they allow you to choose the shape of your braces.  Our most popular shapes are flowers, stars and hearts.  You pick your shape and add your colors to create your own personal look!

Clear Braces

Ceramic braces are made of translucent (clear) material.  They are most popular with adult patients, due to their cosmetic appeal.  The only drawback to ceramic brackets is that they are more fragile, and the elastic ties can discolor between orthodontic visits.

Invisalign

Invisalign is the clear way to straighten teeth without braces, using aligners. Aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing; and you can still eat and drink what you want. Also, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth; and there are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.

Heat-Activated Archwires

Using space-age wires which use your body heat to exert gentle force against your braces, we can provide an orthodontic experience that is faster, requires fewer appointments, and is more comfortable than ever before!

Temporary Anchorage Devices

We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of expanding technologies in orthodontics. Temporary anchorage devices, or TAD’s, have allowed us to predictably perform difficult orthodontic movements that in the past could not be obtained by conventional orthodontic treatment because of limitations of anchorage requirements and patient compliance. These tiny titanium screws (the same material used in hip replacements) are temporarily placed in bone between teeth to enhance orthodontic anchorage.
